Styling

Information

The SmartSuite, the day to day web interface to deposit ad-hoc images / view images, can be 'styled' to have a look and feel of the native application, in this case, Sage X3.

Assumptions

• The installation has been completed and the post installation check list has been satisfied
• R14 has been downloaded and extracted to C:\EDMR14
• R14 has been installed to C:\V1 (change as appropriate to your actual installation)
• You have basic knowledge of the concepts of css and image formatting

ReStyle the SmartSuite

Like most web-apps, the styling of the V1 SmartSuite is css driven. Using tools such as Koala and using the following on-disk locations as reference, you can change the look and feel of the V1 SmartSuite:

scss
C:\V1\SmartSuite\IntegrationServer\ui\source\v1\sass

images
C:\V1\SmartSuite\WebPortal\source\v1\modules\launcher\images
C:\V1\SmartSuite\WebPortal\source\v1\modules\core\images

NOTE: V1 cannot support you in changing the look and feel of the SmartSuite. You are advised to backup any files you replace / change in case of display issues.

ReStyle the V1 Clients

Sage X3 V12 introduced a new colour scheme to the user interface, moving away from green to a blue and grey look and feel. EDM for Sage X3 now includes a Style Pack to better fit this new interface.

On each PC that has clients installed that require re-styling:

• Ensure all V1 clients on the PC are closed
• Click here to download the style pack
• Un-compress to a tempoary location and copy the files therein to your clipboard
• Using Windows File Explorer, navigate to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Version One Shared\Styles\Current

• Paste your new files over the top of your old ones agreeing to replace them (take a backup first if required.)
