Implement DbLogin

For all aspects of DbLogin Implementation, you will need the DbLogin Admin Console installed, it's plugins and access to the SmartPortal as an administrative user.

Roles and Users are created in the SmartPortal, the DbLogin Admin Console is only used to allocate access (this is covered as part of the SmartPortal Implementation).

At ths point, all you need to do is apply your licenses.

Apply licences

Now understood, from the licenses you received:

1. Using Windows File Explorer, navigate to where you un-compressed your licenses, and copy the *.cals to your clipboard
2. Using Windows File Explorer, navigate to the C:\V1Home\DbLogin\CALS directory and paste them
3. Navigate to services.msc and restart the V1DbLogin Service.
