Solve a Problem
There may be times where things don't quite go to plan, the following touchpoints will offer direction to solve issues that may crop up during an implementation.
Some may seem obvious, but it's worth ticking them off to get you back up and running.
SmartPortal
- Have the instructions been followed in full?
- Have you checked the log files?
- Are your licenses in place?
- Are the services started?
In many cases, a simple restart of the following services can get you back up and running:
- V1IntegrationServer
- ArchJson
- V1HTTPServer
- Is the database the SmartPortal is using responding? (PostGRE / MS SQL)
- Have any database credential's changed since the SmartPortal was implemented?
User Interface
No available logons. Please contact your administrator.
Ensure your user has had their respective license assigned in the DbLogin Admin Console.
SmartMail
- Have the instructions been followed in full?
- Have you checked the log files?
- Is your license in place?
- Is the service started?
SmartMail can only be configured in debug mode, but to run, the service must be started.
- Are the mail server(s) SmartMail is using responding?
- Have any credential's changed since SmartMail was implemented for Mail Server's / Mail boxes?
DbLogin
- Have the instructions been followed in full?
- Have you checked the log files?
- Are your licenses in place?
All your .cal files must be copied in place and any changes to them means a restart to the service to apply.

DbArchive
- Have the instructions been followed in full?
- Are the services started?
- Have you checked the log files?
- Is your license in place?
- Are the paths/database connection details in the \DbArchive\dbarchive.ini correct?
