Mandatory Pre-Requisites
- The Patch Program must be downloaded, un-compressed and ran on the same server as the EDM for Sage X3 (R13) installation.
Example Walkthrough
- EDM for Sage X3 (R13) is installed, implemented and tested from the main distribution using the setup program
- The customer has been using R13 for 3 months and wants to update to R13 Patch 3
- Patch Program is downloaded and uncompressed to a convenient location on the same server
- Patch 1, Patch 2 and Patch 3 are downloaded
- Patch Program is loaded, prompts for the zip file containing the Patch files and applies them to what has been installed
NOTE: Although backed up, several files will be replaced as part of a Patch update so you are advised to only apply them to a system that has had no bespoke enhancements.
