EDM for Sage X3 (R13)

Single Tenant Cloud Deployment


The Single Tenant Solution is identical in functionality as if hosted or on-Premise, but the deployment is different.

V1 hosts it's components (R13 Patch 2) on a dedicated Single Tenant AWS server (which has all software fully installed) and has un-interrupted connectivity to the Sage X3 server provided by Sage.

Each server has activities which have to be performed to 'activate' it, at a high level:

On the V1 Server:
  • Apply the licenses
  • Set the Sage X3 server connection details in the relevant settings files
  • Start the services
NOTE: Direct access is required to the V1 Server provided by the operations team.

On the Sage X3 Server:
  • Apply the EDM / PIA patches
  • Set the Sage X3 ADX parameters to align with the V1 Server settings
NOTE: No direct access is required to the Sage X3 server, all activation activity is done via the browser.

The following document the steps on each respective server and should be performed by the Professional Services team allocated responsibility to perform them.
