Information

A background process automatically importing images into SmartExtract received by one of the following means:

• Emailed as a PDF attachment from SmartMail
    • PDF’s are decrypted
• Emailed as a zip file containing X number of PDF attachments
    • ZIP file is uncompressed and the PDF’s therein processed
• Scanned in via DbScanner
    • As either a single or multi-page B&W tiff
    • As either a single or multi-page colour jpg
• PDF’s, tiff’s, ZIP files or JPG’s deposited via SmartDeposit

Email alerts triggered using SmartMailSend:

• Connection to NIS fails
• PDF Decryption fails
• Connection to DbArchive to retrieve scans fails
• Import into SmartExtract fails

The delivery consists of the following components:

• DbCheck polling service (renamed to SmartExtractPickup.exe)
• Dbcsquery
• Dbcsblob
• Jointiff
• Jq
• imageMagick
• curl
• qpdf-10.0.1
• fbzip
• SmartExtactPickup.def
