SmartExtractVendorImport

Information

To greatly improve first time recognition of documents, Supplier and Business Unit information can be imported into SmartExtract via API.

The payload for this is in the form of a CSV file, a sample can be downloaded here.

SmartExtractVendorImport provides a background process automatically importing Vendor this CSV into SmartExtract by the following means:

• CTID obtained from NIS via API to authenticate communication
• enterAPP triggered via API
• Valid queues returned via API (those that have an email address)
• Checks Vault to decide:
    • Whether to do a lookup
    • Whether ERP Include is present and whether to trigger it
• For each Queue ID found, importVendorFile API triggered to update each with the Vendor data found where a CSV file is present

Email alert triggered using SmartMailSend:

• Any connection / API failure
• No Valid SmartExtract queues found
• Import into SmartExtract fails

This removes the need to use the Vendor Import for each queue as a manual action, but this can still be used as required.

Once imported, it negates the need to ‘Train’ the vendors for new images imported or on-going images to be recognized.

Hotfixes

To save having to re-install SmartExtractVendorImport for existing installations made since the last update, hotfixes can be applied (file replacement) as and when available.

Fresh installs of SmartExtractVendorImport will always include the hotfixes, so do not need to be applied.
